beat.box

My final project for the Visual Design course at General Assembly was to create a landing page for a made-up brand. I chose Beat.Box: an up-and-coming music service targeting men (18-25) looking for a personalized music discovery experience—that's also quick and easy.

I wanted my landing page for Beat.Box to feel like an old building in a hip neighborhood. Similar to the kind of neighborhood that the target audience would be renting an overpriced apartment in.

These custom user badges were created for a freelance client creating a female community website. She wanted the badges to symbolize a user's status on the site; as a user became a more influential part of the site's community, they would get a fancier looking badge to display on their profile

The full website mock up can be viewed in the gallery. Also, in the gallery is a mock up of the survey that was created for my website to help a user decide what to listen to on Beat.Box.

social media marketing

The Shaggy & Ne-Yo social media posts (Facebook & Instagram) were created to spread awareness to fans that Ne-Yo & Shaggy had a new app coming out, where fans could interact with them and all of their social media content, music, merch and more.

The Plaze Music Facebook posts were for creating awareness and driving downloading for a new music app.
